Im a freshman in college this year, and i have been cutting over the summer(didnt go to well, lots of parties...) I want to get back into bulking, but very clean. my problem is i really dont have very much good food.

My normal day goes like this...

Meal1

2 scoops whey(50g)
1/2 c oats
4 or 5 eggs(usually whole, im trying to get them to make me just whites)

meal2(pre w/o)
chicken breast in a can
OR
whatever protien they have at lunch(chicken/pork chop etc)
1/2 cup oats

meal3(PWO)
50g whey
dextrose
maltodextrin

meal4
w/e is for dinner, usually lots of protien and greens. pretty low on the carbs now

meal5
50 g whey
greenbeans or salad
handfull of almonds

meal6
handfull of almonds
leftovers from dinner if i have any, sometimes a can of chicken breast

This is mostly it. i have put on atleast 5 pounds since ive been here, and some of it is fat i can tell. mostly because i had to eat crap food for the first 2 weeks because i dindt have anything good on me. Also, im really trying to cut down my carbs, i dont know wahts up with my, but i feel like im bloating up like crazy, and putting on alot of fat. Anybody have anything theyd change here? I take vitamin c, mulit vitamins, glucosamine, green tea, aminos, and glutamine also, but i didnt put them in.

thanks alot guys.

you are getting fat because all for the most part you are eating is protein no wonder most people who train never get results how much ever you way for e.g 200 pounds
eat 200 x 1.5 training days ,1 x 200 non training or cardio days and .5 x 200 for one starvation day so your body and gi will get a break from all this food. Here is where most people don't make cotinual gains carbs should always be double that of your protein and instead of lowering carbs or protein when dieting just lower them both e.g if body building lowest carb intake should be 1gram per pound of body weight and protein lwest intake .5 of body weight.carbs don't make you fat unless you eat the wrong type also carbs are the prefered energy source of the body.If you feed your body mre protein than carbs guess what your body is going to burn protein for energy instead of carbs and your muscles are made up of protein so you would be fighting a losing battle. I hope this helps if you have qu estions i will be glad to further clarify

Im not gonna say this is good or bad. You are your own best judge for a correct set of eating habits. That looks to be a helluva lota protein. GENJURO in my opinion is closer to reality with a somewhat more balanced approach. Your body is like a favorite meal sometimes it takes awhile to get all the ingredients correct. You add a little of this take out some a that try a little somethin different. Sooner or later you will get it correct.

I like that. It's very true, a lot of it is just trial and error to see what works best for you.
