To make a long story short i recieved 14 stitches in my back, and i am out of they gym for a least 10 days, the thought has crossed my mind to just say screw it and lift but i dunno how good that would be. I was wondering if and how i should change my diet, i have been eating about 5-6 small meals a day, egg whites chicken and all good things, also am i gonna start to lose muscle during this period?

You won't lose much at all in that short period of time. You might LOOK a bit smaller but that's just because of inactivity with will come back fairly quickly once you start lifting again. If you continue to eat clean then you won't have much of a problem.

To tell you the truth these 10 days could be beneficial. If you have been lifting for a long time it is sometimes good to take a week off from the gym as it allows for full recovery of the CNS. HST uses this principle by "deconditioining" your body. Don't sweat it man you'll be fine. You won't lose more than a lb if you are eating right and thats assuming you have a faster metabolism.

Like Admin says, your muscles may appear to be smaller from the lack of glycogen storage but in reality you will not lose that much muscle mass. Keep your meals relatively the same, with if possible all your meals coming from whole foods.

As everyone else said - keep your cals around maintence level - keep to whole foods as much as possible - since no Pre/post Wo meal include the macros into 1 meal - the rest will probably helo you in the long run - loss or muscle or gain of fat is unlikley as long as you dont' go crazy restrciting or adding calories.

dude 10 days is nothing you will be fine you will not "lose" any muscle, it doesnt just dissappear like that, 2 days at the gym and you will be right back to where you were, relax and take it easy, a break is good every now and then

i took 12 weeks off once bc of school and work when i was graduating, and people still thought i worked out constantly. i just kept the diet in lock.

10 days aint sht yea it sucks but take it as an excuse to be lazy for a few days and relax

10 days is not bad as long as you keep eating the same way (5-6 meals) ...rest is rest anyways and it's always good for you. If you've been dedicated the whole year, I don't see a reason why 10 days would hold you back from gains.
