so heres the deal... despite sleeping prob 9+ hours every night i have absolutely NO appetite in the morning, I always make myself eat at least 30g of protein within an hour of waking up b/c I know my body needs it, ususally This means eating a few nutrigrain bars or a peanut butter sandwich and washing it down with a protein shake b/c its alot faster and less painful than eating eggs or chicken but afterwards I feel like absolute shit!... anyone have any idea in hell why????... any suggestions???... thanks in advance.

Couple ideas that I know has that effect on me maybe it will help you.

It could have something to do with what you are eating or not eating before bed.

Do you drink water before bed and also when you first get up?

Are you bulking?

How many meals a day, when I eat more and smaller meals I will wake up hungry other wise I could go 6 or so hours with no food and feel fine.

Just some ideas.

aight bro.. i do eat before bed, not right before, but about an hour before turning in, one hoping it would help my morning appetite and two b/c it sucks going to bed on a full stomach. Yep, I am drinking water when i go to bed, but not when i wake up, i usually try to cram something in me. Then afterwards once that settles to the point i feel my stomach can take somthing else Ill drink about 16 oz of water. I am bulking, and prob get about 6-7 meals a day. ++ also in the afternoons im always hungry and eat like a horse, maybe its just my body clock... im open to suggestions...

Well, some time ago when i was waking up in the morning i couldn`t eat anything i mean it. Everything i tryed to eat just maded me feel sick.
If i ate chicken or smth in the morning... i just couldnt get it down. So i tryed again and again and again.
Now when i wake up first thing i think is FOOOOOD.

Dont know about that protein shakes and everything. Doesnt bother me to drink one in an morning.

I would try to start eating that egg`s and chicken meals and stay away from peanut butter sandwich in the morning .... thats just my humbly opinion.

Hey Ryan,

I think maybe I know what is happening, same thing happens to me. I eat through the day MORE than I really want to, stomach actually distends and I never really feel like eating. BTW I was DIETING with Skip on 4500 calories and very little cardio, so I feel your pain.

I have been in this game a LONG time! Damn I just looked at how old you are, I have been at this for over one and a half times your age lol

Well I never really came up with a solution except like you say cram it down. I actually have some people testing a new product which is an appetite stimulant. It will take a few weeks to make sure it works perhaps that would help.

BTW this didn't start as a SPAM post, just turned into it :)

thanks both of yall... Martin kinda has me thinkin that maybe its just a phase as Ive not always had this problem, just for the past few months... and Crowler I def know waht you mean about the stomach distending, i feel like i just swallowed a watermelon right now. The appetite stimulant sounds like something looking into if it really works. Whenever i see appetite supressants Ive always wondered why the hell nobody ever comes out with something that does the opposite. Thanks man!

lol same here, that is why I said DAMN I have to make one. Was the same when we started making peanut butter flavored protein powder.

I believe what it is, is the all day eating and you just really are not hungry in the AM. Did the loss of appetite in the AM start a little while after bulking?

come to think of it, that does make alot of sense b/c i started bulking right after my back recovered from a track injury... looking back it does seem that was when the problem started b/c i was consuming buffets of food at the time. ... oh well, im enjoying bulking so i guess its somethin that ill just have to deal with, hopefully with some help from that supp of yours if it works
