Alright lads,

Hows it going?

Ive been out of action for a while (2 years) and im eager to get back into the mood of training! Ive educated myself even more this time round and i feel im ready again. For the past few days i have read nothing but diets, when to eat and when to train topics. So therefore im gradually building up an understanding on how i can improve more than last time.
I do not want to just be given a diet and told to go out and buy all these different sources of food. (I try to delay the process of taking protien until im really sure i need it).
I have been wondering is there a way you could explain how i could gradually get into the diet, I.E. starting with one meal a day of protein and maybe times when i should eat and train that day?

I do realise that you cannot fit this around my college work, but maybe provide your day of diet and workout and so i could develop it to my day.

Thanks

i have the same problem sometimes. im a pre-med major so the workload doesnt allow for much flexibility, and they money issues are there as well.

what i found that works for me is eating a decent sized breakfast (500-600 calories). i take the allotted "one piece of handfruit" with me as i leave the caf. i eat this after my first class, usually and hour and a half later. more classes til lunch, i usually grab something small (complex carbs) like a bowl of pasta. more classes...

i then eat something small again, simple carbs such as fruit. i then train (4pm-ish) and finish my workout. after my workout, i immediately go to eat dinner and eat whatever i can fit into my body. i dont eat crap tho, alot of veggies, some fruit, and mainly protein.

studying the rest of the night with a snack break, preferably something high in protein.

whey protein before bed, wake up and do it again.

after classes are done i eat

If you are going to train again you will need protein in your diet mate, it is the building blocks of muscle! but if you cant eat protein throughout the day make sure you get it as soon as you finish your workout! A tub of protein powder is ideal for people who have a busy lifestyle. All the best
