Take advantage of that great metabolism you have at your age. Mike's suggestion about the jello was great - also I'd avoid all fruits since they have sugar in them and will only lead to more cravings. i was most successfull with my diet when i didn't eat ANY sugar or fruit. i actually lost the cravings! was tough tho. i'm sure you can make it, bro - good luck.

Thanks bro. Sweets def my biggest weakness. I will cut the sweets out and see what I can do from there. And yes the jello really is a big helper. Its good to get advice from guys like you and mike who have been in the game most likely while I was still in diapers. Thanks for your helpful comments and don't let big mike throw a hip out working too hard!!

Hahahaha - sad but true - and when you reach my age - I'LL be in diapers! LOL

BTW - check out sweet potatos as a great carb/snack. They taste sweet (to me at least) and so satisfy that craving a bit while providing the complex carbs you need. I usually cook a couple of smaller ones in the micro in the am and then just carry them around with me 'til it's snack time. You can eat the skins - full of vitamns. they are more portable than bananas IMO altho you will get some weird looks from people when you chomp down on them in public.

I've found getting sick kind of helps me control my eating for a little while because I don't want to eat ANYTHING at all at first and the stomach seems to shrink... I'm with you there though, I had the flu last week too.

Good luck, keep up the hardwork!

Thanks brother. The flu def will hinder your progress. I have been eating very clean so far and have dropped 7 pounds which puts me at 213. Would like to be 200 so when I reach it I will post some pics. Thanks for the encouragement bro.

Alright... don't know if anyone is still following this thread but I have maintained my weight at 211 but my bf% is down. don't know exact numbers but other people make comments that I am leaning in the gym. have been training harder than ever and it is paying off. Just ordered a tub of jacked so we will c how it works. BTW I am little more motivated now because of an incident at the gym a couple weeks ago. after doing tri exercise i was contrcting it and seeing what areas needed to be improved. Afterwards I noticed I was being laughed at by two guys in the gym. and to top it off it was 2 members of the dungeon. I have alot more mass than either one of them so I couldn't believe it. If you are reading this YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. But anyways I don't let small things like taht get in my way. feel free to leave comments and thoughts about this.

Hey man - you can definately make it!!!! i just hit 200 from 218 in 5 weeks - my diet was super strict but it works. Next week will be tough with T-day. Enjoy your meal - consider it your "cheap" meal - eat all you can of everything you love for 45 mins. Then cut it off and enjoy some coffee or tea for the rest of the meal. Your body won't be able to process and intake all that food in 45 mins so it won't be so bad as if you do the typical and eat for 2 hours (like I used to do!)

Good luck bro - I'm really impressed with your dedication!
