Whats up layne!
I've been working hard to get the desired muscle. I'm currently eating/sleeping hard and my diet is on top!
Here's my training program:
Wed&Sat:
Chest/Trapz/Triceps/Legs
Fri&Sun:
Shoulders/Briceps/Back
It's a 2hrs workout and I've got up to 20lbs in 6weeks from it but I'm wondering since I'm done my creatine cycle should I do a "normal" program?
example:
Thurs: Chest&Trapz
Fri: Biceps&Triceps
Sat:Shoulders&Legs
Sun: Back
Also I'm currently doing pyramids 12-10-8-6 and 4x8 reps...
Should I include 3x12reps or 5x5's ?
I'm 5'7 165lbs and I'm tryna get to 200lbs before next summer!
Any good feedback or critiques would be great! Thanks alot!

Your diet is much more important than your training if you're attempting to gain weight.

redrom you need to change your split. working out for two hours is way to long and how can you tell me you can work your legs hard after chest, traps and triceps? you cant....
you need to be in the gym hitting your muscles hard so focus on less bodyparts per session.. what about this split??
day1-chest shoulder
day2-back
day3-legs
day4-arms
day5-calves abs or off ...
if you want to incorporate calves into leg day thats cool.
how do you cycle your creatine??

with this split you will be able to have shorter more intense workouts without risk of overtraining

well most of my workouts are 1.5 to 2 hours and thats what i gained best off of. If pre/post workout nutrition is on point, there's nothing wrong with it... other than it goes against all the dogmatic preachings of the last 10 years. That doesn't make it unsound.

also, how he splits up his bodyparts depends on his weakpoints... maybe his legs and chest are particularly strong and he doesn't mind sacrificing some on those so that he can have more focus for other bodyparts

additionally, training a muscle group 2-3x/week is far superior than 1x/week, you need only look at timecourse information on the protein synthesis response to resistance exercise in skeletal muscle to see that.

cool layne
i train 2 hours a day too. but that's including core work and accesories.

and i train my weak parts 2x a week!!!

it's good to know that you have found your own shit out that even goes contrary to what studies show. everyone's different and people on these boards that know me well, know that i do many things that are considered unorthodox in the world of bodybuilding.

good post
