This has been on my mind since I read Layne's free questions and answers document. I have been taking L Luecine alone for a while and have have gotten good gains since I started it.

I take my shake post-training with 5-15 grams Luecine

Does science prove that all three Bcaa's are needed for a greater muscle building effect?

I believe you are doing everything correctly as it stands, if you listen to Dr. Scott Connelly (former owner of Met-Rx) on Muscular Development's No Bull Radio, he'll reinforce my comments that Leucine is THE one to take, and the others are redundant (Apparently).

Honestly, Smeton yea you dont NEED any BCAA at all. A good workout program, a healty diet and maybe a protein and creatine supplement is all you need. All BCAA are usually found in a protein supplement anyways. Hard work and determination is what gives results and I can asure you that supplements only play a minor role in this strategy. Ive wasted tons of money on useless supplements over the years, but we all come to a point one day and realize that most supplements simply dont work as the producers claim. They just want your money. Not saying anything bad about BCAA, but I can asure you that you would be just as fine without it. :)

I agree in a sense; however studies show that leucine is the amino acid that stimulates protein synethis and elvated luecine levels increase muscle mass. If your very serious about gaining muscle extra Luecine does play a factor. also helps burn fat.

Im just a lil confused what Layne said in his Question and answers download that was posted a few threads down.

Leucine has worked for me Ill just keep doing what works..just trying to be the extremely best I can be! Correct knowledge is power!
