Anyone taking in regular doses of Niacin(B3)? Have been reading how it might help raise HGH Levels.

How much are you taking? I don't think the raise in sex hormones would be sufficient to justify the side effects such as liver damage when doses are >2g/day.

Personally I don't believe in mega doses of any vitamin.

I'm trying 250 mg a day. So there is a risk for liver damage, or the mega dosing would introduce that risk.

16mg/day for men is the RDA. The upper level is 35mg/day. Toxicity symptoms: niacin flush, impaired glucose tolerance, and yes liver damage.

Well now it doesn't seem so great.

Thanks.

Good luck being niacin deficient as a bb!!

Niacin is in protein rich foods: milk, eggs, meat, fish, whole grains, nuts, and all other foods containing protein

The only way he has a niacin deficiency is if he has a secondary deficiency (a problem with absorption) which is very unlikely.
