I m trying something I saw Layne Norton say on bodybuilding.com that havign your calories higher than for two weeks cutting.

Something about it increases leptin stores? I might have this wrong

Can someone explain how this works and what process the body overgoes while going thoough this process and how its benifical?

He does it to stay somewhat leaner all year round... and it works because during a cut the body is most susseptable to losing fat in the first two weeks... it works the hardest because you are feeding so much during a bulk then you cut it off. It is a pretty good way to go
