hey layne i just want to say i love ur bodybuilding.com episodes i watch it everyday for motivation before goin to the gym...i tried the glute ham raise u always do and i had a tough time doin them....i was wondering how long it took u to do one rep with ur bodyweight? maybe u cud do them from the get go...but do u have any tips for me and those who are just trying to them their first time and how to assist myself in doing them wen starting out?

Just a suggestion, but if you are not capable of doing them like that, try doing regular ham raises and on a machine and building your glutes up until you build up your strength enough to be able to do them. Really the only way I could see helping, that and continue trying them until you eventually pull one off. Best of luck!

well there are dangers in any exercise. Just got to warmup thoroughly and be cautious.
