Hey guys I am just curious......it is Musclemania a 100% Natural Competition???????? I have been checking all the natural federations because I want to compete next year in one of them.....however I have noticed that Musclemania have some really huge guys competing there!!!! Also I noticed that when Layne posted the thread about the best naturals out there he did not mention any Musclemania Champs such as Morris Mendez or Ulises Jr ....etc

What you guys think!!!!!!!!!1

i recon there is juicing involved in musclemania competitors, even still there are ways to pass a drug screen on tested comps...

From what I have heard, from forums, that comp has holes that allow non-naturals to slip through.

I have been checking some of the competitors and some of them are 240- 260 lbs in contest shape. Another thing that sound weird is this pro that competed in 2005 and is returning to this year with more 30lbs of muscle......On the other hand this guy MM Pro David Whittaker (At 6'3", 240 lbs) David started competing in MM at the 2004 MM World where he easily won the Heavyweight Class and Overall title. But, it has been with a bit of controversy since the INBA organization has been claiming on their website that "David Whittaker . . . tested positive for Furosemide, Nandrolone or precursors: Norandrosterone measured at 1350 ng/ml, stanzolol and metabolites in both A and B samples" at one of their 2004 contests held just 1 week before MM World.............

I don’t have nothing against chemically enhanced athletes....i think that all bodybuilders are great champions already but what I dislike is people that need to lie in order to have an advantage over other people. Finally according to layne’s website Musclemania doest have a time frame for drug free requirement....so that make me believe that I can take some steroids during my prep and stop them in order to be clean at contest day.

It's funny you know. They claim natural, don't enforce it and quite a few people know the score. So why keep up the BS?

I was thinking the same thing!!! I believe that if they reveal the truth Muclemania will loose all their popularity. But at the same time it is pretty sad!!

Musclemania was origionally formed in order to compete with the NPC. they were really big in the 90's. They worked out a TV contract with ESPN where they would televise their events; but ESPN wouldn't do it unless they said they were 'natural' and did drug testing, hence the label has stuck
