there is a maximum rate of protein synthesis & the only thing that will increase it more is steroids or other anabolics. People who keep increasing protein with the idea that the increase in lean mass will be linear are very mistaken. There is a certain beneficial maximum and above this; there is no further anabolic benefit to more protein after that point
