Hello guys...........3 weeks out!!

I am almost there.... every week i am working extra hard to make it possible...hitting the weight room and cardio very hard.....on saturday i was so tired after the whole week working and training that if i had seated in bed i could have fallen sleep...but instead i went to the gym and did high intensity intervals for 17 min and some ab-work. As layne say.....you want it or not!!!

By the way did you guys remember that i was worried about loosing weight to fast because i had lost 4.5 lbs in 9 days with my cardio protocol but Layne advised me not to change anything........Well he was right.....i lost just under a pound last week......i am 189.6 lbs today (190.5 last week)

On the other hand i will increase my cardio from 40 to 45 minute sessions this week......

Finally i pick up this song for the show ( individual routine) i really like it.....but tell me what you guys think about it

Thanks guys for your opinions about the song.......i will stick with Land of Confusion!!!!!!!!

On the other hand....i got some king of headache yesterday....light buy annoying..... however I had a good chest workout. Today I woke up with the same pain and I am worried about my training.....it is very frustrating because if the pain hasn’t subsided by this afternoon I wont be able to perform my best in the gym. Today I have to do legs and I am sure that I wont be able to squat if I have this headache.....well **** happens!!! I will try to train my legs the best I can....however i always feel bad when I have a bad workout!!!

Also I have noticed that I am loosing strength in the gym....i am not lighting the weighs that I used to (for example I was able to incline bench 275 x 6 but now I can just do 3 reps maybe 4 with assistance).....however every other week I force my body to handle heavy weights (similar to my off-season weights) to maintain some strength and preserve my muscle mass. I believe that the worst thing you can do during dieting is to lift light.....this is the most idiotic theory of lifting for fat loss!!!!!!! when you are in a restricted calorie state your body need a very good reason to keep its energy costly muscle mass.

The other reason why I want to keep my strength is because once I finish the diet and I start to flood my body with calories the “Rebound Effect” will shoot my strength thru the roof.....More strength = More muscle. Finally I am lifting very heavy just every other week because my body is more prone to injuries now and want to avoid them as much as I can.....if I get injured the game is over!!!!!!

Well let see if I can get rid of this ache and have a decent workout today.

You could also try to get a massage. When you are stressed and your muscles are tight you are more prone to get a headache.

You are 3 weeks out.. your lifts are going to go down. Just keep doing what you are doing.

Also try a nap if you can fit it somewhere in your schedule.

Thank you bro!! I usually try to nap at lunch time but it is not enough time...i barely have 20 minutes to lay down in my bed and rest ....sometimes I pass out but sometimes I can just close my eyes and rest. Hopefully in 2 months when we finish this project I will be back to a normal schedule. I really want to have more time to rest and train the way I want LOL!!

Thank you my friend.....i am almost done with the diet and I just need to keep pushing for 3 more weeks!!! after that my job and preparation will be complete and i will be ready to face my competion!!!

The other reason why I want to keep my strength is because once I finish the diet and I start to flood my body with calories the “Rebound Effect” will shoot my strength thru the roof.....More strength = More muscle. Finally I am lifting very heavy just every other week because my body is more prone to injuries now and want to avoid them as much as I can.....if I get injured the game is over!!!!!!

Well let see if I can get rid of this ache and have a decent workout today.

this is normal. presses go first... basically with less interstitial fat you can't properly balance the weight. To be honest if you weren't losing strength i'd be worried because it would mean you weren't lean enough

Thanks bro!!....Gold would be amazing!!! but to be realistic i will be happy if i get 3erd or something like that. ..LOL!!!! I am competing in a non-tested competition!!! on the other hand if you ask me if i am intimdated HELL NOO!! i will show them what natural bodybuilding is all about...jeje

Seriusly...This is my first show and i will do my best but i dont want to set unrealistic goals....
