Little update from Yesterday

Well I missed my workout last night!....my first day off in 3 weeks and my body couldn’t take it. I was feeling like crap literally. Once I get back from work I took a little nap in a desperate attempt to recover for a leg workout but when my wife wake me up 30 minutes later I couldn’t open my eyes…I felt no strength or will power in my body. I felt that I did not have control over my body “what a horrible feeling” ….anyway after 5 minutes I tried to get dressed but I was feeling so bad that I go dizzy. My wife was freaking out LOL!...so I decided to stay at home! After that a terrible hunger started to hit me….i don’t know what was wrong but at one point I was about to throw the towel and eat whatever I can to get me full!.....Anyway today is legs! I will try to do my best

always gotta listen to your body, it's good that you stayed home.

i noticed during your chest workout last week you were doing floor presses, what do you feel the biggest difference is between floor presses and normal flat bench?

way to keep it together, good call on staying home, as much as it sucks missing a day, you could have missed tons more if you pushed yourself over the tip of the cliff.\

Its a complete different animal! with floor presses the contraction of the chest muscle is increased because you take out of the formula the strech reflex of the tendon.....but in order to do that correctly you have to stop for a second and rest your elbows in the floor.

I kept it simple today!

1. DB Squats (10 SETS Total)
a. 150's x 8 reps

2. Glute Ham Raises (5 SEts Total)
a. Bodyweight x 10 reps

3. Seated Hams Curls (5 sets Total)
a. 120 x 15 reps

4. Standing Calf Raises
a. 315 x 15
b. 365 x 15
c. 405 x 12
d. 405 x 12

5. Seated Calf Raises
a. 135 x 8
b. 180 x 5
c. 205 x 5
d. 205 x 5

6. HIIT
a. 10 min W-up
b. 17 Intevals
c. 5 min Cool Down

I use BB just cuz that's how I know how to do it and I feel like it gives you better balance at first.

Whatever feels more confortable to you!...i like DB's because they are easier to handle, work your stabilizer muscles and safer than BB's....go with DB's first...as a matter of fact i have never used BB's with this exe

Man those are great progress photos - absolutely insane progress dude! You are really looking like an anatomical figure the definition is so amazing. Having said that, the muscle size and proportion is right on spot too. Once again - wish i was planning a trip to Texas - that will be one helluva show! Extreme props, my friend!

thanks michael! i really appreciate the kind comments bro! ...cocerning to the show it is going to be held in Evansville Indiana! A little expensive but there are no WNBF PRO Shows here in Texas! Well last one bro! Last one...i can wait to start eating and experimenting a bit with my offseason

first time i looked at this thread, all i can say is WOW!!!! your legs are sick, and you still have 8 wks left, i am speachless. may take forever but going to start on page one and work my way up, def lots to learn in your thread

Nice bro! if you make it make sure to introduce your self at eht contest bro! ...anyway...i will be experimenting with my nutrition and training, i will do things that i have never done before! starting from restoring my metabolism right after the contest so i can eat more during offseason without getting fat!...it is going to be a great ride! and if everythinf goes has planned i will have a great offseason...but it is going to required a lot of sacrifices and diciplime...but hey i need to stay on top of the game if i want to be a good at the prolevel!
