Hey guys.....something pretty sad happened last night at the gym.......Another competitor dropped from the competition!!! This time was a 18 or 19 year old kid (Very good and proportioned upper body ..65kg class.....very friendly and nice kid) .He was also juicing for the contest and he got pretty strong lately....he always loading the bar with more weight every time I saw him.........I remember that a few weeks ago I told him to be careful but he said...don’t worry I will!!! Well last night he was curling 135 lbs at a bodyweight of 143 lbs.....and suddenly his left bis gave out!!!! .....this is pretty sad because nobody deserve this to happen....specially 3 weeks out..........Also I don’t know how bad the injury was but he got a black bruise in his arm.......

When juicing your muscles grow and get strong fast but you tendons and ligaments don’t.......

Ouch!! man that’s pretty bad!! i feel very sorry for him!!!! i hope that the kids reading this always listen to their body first......ego lifting and the macho attitude is not going to take you long.

Poor kid, the same thing happened to a friend of mine who used to compete in Germany (You know him Francisco, Vali Tirsoaga), as Layne said he tore his bicep off the bone, and had a major surgery to attach his biceps back using screws. It's very painfull and damaging.
By the way excellent song Chico, let call it the song of victory hehehe.

Yes i remember Vali....he was pretty big in his days!! I remember that he used to tell us to be careful in the gym.....(a few years ago)

Hello guys....

I have noticed that I am having trouble defining my hams......in order to improve Layne advised me to increase my HIIT from 2 times/week to 4 times/week. I started yesterday with the first session for this week and let me tell you is really tough....especially after hitting my back hard in the weight room. This is the final Push!!! And I need to push harder and harder these final weeks.....i can’t slow down!!!

At this point I don’t care about the scale, about the people and his stupid comments, I don’t care about anything else but achieving the best possible condition. On the other hand... It is very funny how people behave...... for example when I workout with t-shirt covering my body...everybody tell me that I am looking flat and skinny,,,,but the next day when I workout with a tank top...the same people tell me that I am looking huge!! This remembers me something that Layne told me yesterday.........”The leaner you get the bigger you will look onstage” ....very true!! This sport is about creating the illusion of Size and not about how much you weight.

Getting back to my original subject I will be doing HIIT today, tomorrow and Saturday to complete this week......then I have 2 more week to try to improve my ham definition before the contest.

People are easily thrown off guard. You and Layne make a great team! I agree, I would rather go in well-conditioned and cut even if I had to sacrifice a little size than go in there and look sloppy. Your hams will come in.. keep training hard!!

What does it take to be competitive bodybuilder?................Pain, sacrifice??

MIRACLE DIET
[ The 20-Week Miracle Diet ]

So you want to be a bodybuilder? You think you're serious? You think you're ready? Listen, I've heard it all before, guys coming up to me and asking, "I want to be ripped and shredded. What's the secret?" If I had a nickel for every time I heard that I'd be a millionaire. ****, make that a billionaire. Listen, there ain't no miracle pill. There is no secret diet. What you have to do is bust your ass every single day. You have to suffer.

Let me tell you about suffering, bro. Suffering is eating the same tasteless **** every day for twelve to twenty weeks, depending on how fat and out of shape you are. It's not unheard of that a guy who weighs 250 pounds in the off season will step on stage weighing 200 pounds. That's 50 pounds to lose. That's 50 pounds of pure suffering. When you're trying to eat 400 grams of protein per day and your choices are egg whites, tuna, chicken, and beef, things get pretty boring.

So you think you got what it takes? Sure, one 7-oz. bag of tuna isn't so bad. Try a 7-oz. bag of tuna five times a day. It's like eating salted wood. After eating tuna for so long, I've developed a method for getting it down as quickly as possible. Here's what I do. I shovel as much tuna in my mouth as is humanly possible without throwing it up. I chew it fast and then chase it with mouthfuls of water. This is a quick way to get about 50g of protein in only a few bites. I can do three mouthfuls per sitting without gagging.

Speaking of gagging on protein, I was doing legs one day, and I had a brainstorm. Why not drink a protein shake in the middle of my workout? After drinking one, I did another set of squats when I fell violently ill. Man, the bathroom in this gym was across the room, up one flight of stairs. I made it up those stairs in record time, just in time to spray the walls with projectile puke. Word of advice: Don't drink heavy shakes while doing heavy squats. Save it for after, or you'll be doing your squats next to the toilet.

Protein isn't just about tuna or shakes. Another good source is lean red beef. Maybe you love filet mignon? You won't after eating it three times a day for twenty weeks. It ain't a whole lot better than the salted wood. And chicken? Forget about it. Have you ever smelled boiled chicken? Well, it tastes even worse than it smells. I remember several years ago when I was training for a show and eating almost a pound of chicken at every other meal. One day, I got about half a pound down and I just couldn't finish the rest. I knew I had to. I tried just about everything to chow it down. Finally, I decided to make a "chicken shake".

I put the other half pound of cooked chicken along with 8 ounces of apple juice into a blender. I got three gulps down. And three gulps came back up. Yeah, I eventually ended up heaving it all down the toilet. Whatever you do, don't even try a "filet shake". Last but not least, egg whites. So how big is your fridge? You'll need an extra one just to fit the fourteen dozen that you'll eat in a week, every week.

Now that we covered the basic protein, let's move on to carbs. In the first few weeks, you start out with rice, potatoes and oatmeal. After that, you might as well be eating glue, sand, and spackle. Sure these foods actually taste good once in a while, but not for twenty weeks. That's 140 days of hell.

Think this is bad enough? It gets worse. As you get more in shape, your metabolism is going to speed up so fast that you'll have to eat even more just to maintain your size. Times like these, I really have to force myself to eat. It gets ugly, believe me. Some days, I just want to puke it's that bad swallowing this stuff. But you do it. You got to.

Look, nothing comes easy in life, especially those things that are worth having like an ass-kicking physique. Hardcore bodybuilding is about making sacrifices. Lifting weights is ball-busting work. Sitting on that ****ing stationary bike sucks. But diet? Diet is what truly separates the men from the boys. So don't come to me and whine about how hard it is sticking to your diet. Keep your mouth shut and do what you have to do. It's the only way, bro. The "outsiders" think we bodybuilders are crazy. What the hell do they know? Crazy is just another word for dedicated as far as I'm concerned. I'll see you at the other end of twenty weeks. If you got what it takes!!!!.

I am glad that you guys liked the article...

I have been feeling really tired today....and it is 3:00pm and i am still in the office.....i wish i could just leave and take a nap.....i still have a long way to go today....after work i will go to the gym to finish my last HIIT session for the week and do some ab work.....i am feeling like crap today but I can’t slow down.....i will do what I have to do to improve as much as I can in next 2 weeks.....i am almost there, I am finally arriving to the end on my journey. Dieting for 18 weeks it is not easy...but I feel pretty good because I am winning the first battle....the battle against my self, against tiredness, against my fears. My preparation is almost done....i have done the best I could.....2 competitors that I know dropped from the contest already. I don’t know if others have done the same so everybody on contest day will be a winner .....but just a few will be recognized as winners...that’s the way it is. In my case if I get i good placing I will prove everybody around here that natural bodybuilding is possible and that you don’t have to juice to look like a bodybuilder. I have started today to salt all my meals....so now everything taste salty LOL!! And I all I can think off is pizza ajjajaj just kidding.

Well guys I have go to eat more chicken and veggies........then some oatmeal for energy before my HIIT session!!!

ok guys....this pics were taken today.....Some pictures were repeated like the Front 2 bis beacuse i was experimenting a little with the arm position and the lighting....i was trying to find the best angle were i can look bigger. Never mind check the pics.

On the other hand i feel that the definition in my back is improving...however my hams are lacking. I dont know if i will be able to correct the problem in the next couple of weeks...if they don't ....i am hoping that they look better when i loose the water...but i will do the best i can to make it happen.

This is my first competition...its been a great journey...i have learned a lot and i have made good friends here....what else i could possible ask for? Maybe a good placing in the competition jajaj would be great but my job is almost done....and in my next competition i will come back bigger and in better condition than what i could possible archive this time!!! The game is not over yet so.....lets train harder and harder these coming weeks!!!

thank you very much kenney!!!! me a PRO!! you should see the smile in my face right now...thanks bro..you just make me day dream for a second LOL!! that would be a dream come true....but it is no easy task..... i admire all the natural pros that have achieved that status thru sacrifice and pain....maybe one day if god give me the strength to keep overcoming the obstacles and sacrifices that we have to make to improve in this wonderful sport
