uncooked eggs are only about 50% bioavailable, cooking them dramatically increases their bioavailability

Try this: put your eggs in a bowl and pop them in the microwave for like 2 minutes. It sounds gross and your microwave will smell awful funky but it cooks them. Use whatever you can to make them taste good after that. Really, they arent that bad.

This is the main problem. You could make scrambled eggs in the microwave. This is a fast way of cooking them.

RAW EGGS...i personally used to take down 5 raw eggs a day, and ive always herd tht cooking them, jus takes away sum of the nutrients in them. I eat em raw becuz its fast basicly no time to do an im to lazy to cook em.

just crack one ina cup, an take it down lik a shot.

Did you not read the posts above....? Might work in the movies but it's a dumb practice that if continued in time will likely cause you to get sick. Further, it will provide you with a false sense of nourishment.

If you have to drink uncooked eggs, at least get the pasteurized variety you buy in the carton. I'm not 100% sure, but I've heard the pasteurizing process neutralizes the protein inhibitor and bacteria found in raw eggs. The bioavailabilty is greatly increased too, but I've never come across any scientific proof of this. (usually it's cooked vs. raw egg studies that I've come across)

in the old days of bodybuilding it was "the thing" to knock back a dozen or two of raw eggs. It's still pretty safe to do. BUT they have come out with pasturized eggs now. They are a little more pricey than regular eggs. But you can eat them raw.
