me too..better with it than without, dont really have much else doing as much favours for me as what bodybuilding has done.i like the attention i get from it and the questions i get asked are many and sometimes humerous lol
best compliment ive recieved soo far was by a person who i hate..little skater bitch from school during class..he asked me to flex my arm and when i did he said "that's dirty man"
best compliment EVER lol

It does wonders. Confidence booster, attention grabbing, i'm not the biggest guy around, but I get good results so i'm happy with that. Only thing thats weird for me is the eating. I have a bad appetite, I don't usually get hungry that often, i'm not skinny either i'm keeping my weight at 190-192 for now and i'm 5'10. So eating every 2-3 hours is weird for me because its constant. Some days I would just eat one huge dinner and a small lunch. If i'm outside i'll step into a deli if I have to eat and just get some turkey breast slices and wheat bread.

My schedule is exactly as follows: wake up at 7 in the morning, go to the gym and do cardio, start getting ready for work at 8. Cook 6 meals for the day, takes about an hour. Start ironing all of my clothes, pants, shirts, etc. Takes 30 minutes w/starch. Then I clean up-shower, teeth, hair, the works. Go to work at 11 then get a break at 3. Go back to work at 4 and finish between 9 and 10 at night. I then go straight to the gym to Either do A; more cardio or B do the weights. Then I go home and cook 1 more meal. Repeat, repeat, repeat...it's been like this all winter break. When school gets going again it's even more hectic. This was an example of a Double...two work shifts back to back. It's very common. When summer hits, things get even more tight. I'm in my off-season right now and I think i take the cake when it comes to having no life. And you know what...I love it. Lost touch??Nah, I got this shit double fisted with two weight lifting straps.

Bodybuilders go to the gym in the sky to lift weights for all eternity. (maybe I have lost touch with reality)

nice thread! really motivational. Ive taken a seriousness to bodybuilding because i love it. When times are hard, and im tired and don't feel in the mood i think "how bad do i want it?" and i want it really bad! ive always been small and to me anything better than i was before is better than nothing. I too hate eating a lot and it does impact on the social life, but im young and when ive achieved my goal ill walk out and take anything that comes to me. For me putting on weight was such a big help for my self esteem, i did better in school, felt more alive and just enjoyed life. Long story short, the pay offs are so much better than not doing anything, i like to think that those with lots of money, without health, whats the point of it? having good health in-turn can save a lot of money thats my 2c hope it helps
