Layne what do you think of this article?

I know you've been using arginine and I guess you still probably do but I'd like to hear about your opinion about what this article talks about? Solid? Trash? Good points? I'm just curious because I was about to order arginine and then I happened to find this so I don't know anymore :P

This article is really old. IMO, there are a few proven supplements. Creatine, BCAA and EAA's, Glutamine, Vits/Minerals and EFA's. That's it, everything else is skeptical.

Glutamine has anticatabolitic properties. Can you agree on that? In terms of dieting.

nope i can't. in fact studies show oral doses have no effect on skeletal muscle breakdown. The only thing it does is decrease protein breakdown in gut tissues, not skeletal muscle

Yeah what I meant was like the two are total contradictions? Or is there something my noobness didn't get? Both articles are stating facts and sources so it's getting pretty confusing..
