Could you please explain a little further on this?
I have read that when you eat carbs higher on the GI Index w/ protein/fat it tends to lower them a little but I didn't realize that when eating them w/ protein/fat it does it to a degree to make the number trivial. Every single meal I eat has a good amount of protein/fat/and carbs.
Is this why you see so many pro's/people eating potatos (not sweet) during bulk phase? They are high on the GI index but w/ some chicken and olive oil the GI is basically meaningless?
Also to answer the question of why I try not to cheat on my bulking is because I like to stay pretty lean during a bulk so when I cut down it's easier and doesn't take as long. I do cheat maybe 1x a week.. large meatball sub at quiznos!
