I was reading a study and came across this:

"In addition to decreased food intake and body weight, rats injected with EGCG had lower levels of testosterone (70 percent less in the bloodstream) and insulin. "These results may not have been a direct result of EGCG since food restriction could also cause these hormones to drop," said Liao."

Now it is very inconclusive but I feel neither good nor bad about green tea. I drink it every now and then if I havent forgotten I have some bags left, but this data doesn't exactly make me feel better simply because the answer is very inconclusive as to whether it does or not. Seems to me like it doesn't, to any large degree, but anyone else heard of this?

as he said, it could be attributed to food restriction

yeah, but what I was thinking was way even attribute that to EGCG at all if your results were so inconclusive. Information is very misleading. I mean I know Green Tea doesn't lower free test to probably any measureable degree but that info IMO is just very misleading.

Just wanted to bring it up, thanks for the replies!

Well I drink a lot of green tea and gain mass just fine lol
seems to me like some one is just trying to make a study say what they want, not not trying find any truths
