I only take whey , vit.c and multivit/mineral. I think creatine is a waste of money personally. I have tried it before, yes it did work but not worth the money.

Weight gainer is not neccessary as their is no substitue for real food. I don't really buy in to supplements, they are not the keys to growth in the big picture of things.

Is my atittude wrong? or is it just a basis of everybody is different?

what do you think?

I am a massive fan of supplements, not a substitute for real food of course but in addition to. They have been a huge help in my success.

I love creatine, works really well for me!

Lumping everything into one huge "Supplement" catagory makes it kind of hard to answer your question. Its like saying "Automobiles are bad".

Sure there are a lof supps out there that are junk, but there are also plenty that are very good. And while creatine may not have worked for you there are tons of studies proving its effectiveness. Yes, everyone is different but your attitude isnt wrong either cause its your personal view. You'd be wrong to start pushing that view while ignoring any science that proves otherwise.

creatine is the most effective supplement in history. However, if you aren't meticiulous in tracking weight changes, weighing your food, writing down your pro/carb/fat intake, how would you know if it's working? I used to think it didn't work until I actually started tracking all my pro/carb/fat intake and my weight changes every week and low and behold I gained 4-5 lbs in the first week i started taking creatine.

I agree Layne, creatine's effects have been well documented. Definitely worth the money.

Yeah ok, I like your logic.

So what creatine would you recommend for me? (you have twisted my arm )

Is it possible to stay on creatine longterm or do you have to cycle it?

no evidence suggests at this point that it needs to be cycled. Just get plain ol' micronized creatine monohydrate. I use primaforce creaform myself

Mono is cheap and effective, I always gain about 5lbs after 7-10 days on creatine. I cycle it so I can track it's effectiveness and I like to give my body a break from everything a few times a year, but you can stay on it year round!
