How serious are you about weighing food? I bought a spring type kitchen scale a few months ago for $8 at Walmart. It seems to work OK, but at the same time I'm thinking I may want to step it up and buy something better - this will keep my measurements more accurate and consistent. Do you think it's worth it to buy a nicer digital scale? I remember when I bought mine they had a digital one there also which was going for around $20.

I just have the one from GNC and it works fine. Stuff like that I am not too worried about. I think most of the measurements on food packages and stuff is pretty much a close ball park figure.

I also use the spring one from Walmart which I also got for about $8. I need to step it up and buy the digital one but money is already tight being a student with as much as I eat, so hopefully I'll get around to it one of these days.

The spring ones are pretty accurate though.
