I recall reading about keeping track of gains in some of Layne's articles, and I figure it's about time I started doing this. I believe it was stated to weigh yourself every morning and then at the end of the week find your average weight. In addition you should calculate your bf% and take measurements (arms, chest, waist, etc.) weekly. I'm going to go buy a scale tomorrow. How should I go about measuring bf%? At my old gym they had this hand held device that did it, but I think it was really expensive. So I was thinking of going with calipers, but I don't know how to use them, or what kind to get, where I can buy it...

Any suggestions?

bodybuilding.com sells an accufitness caliper and it comes with a myotape tape measure so you can record bodyfat and measurements, just add 3-4% to the caliper readings to get a close to accurate bodyfat measurement.
