Watch what you choose because of the possible water retention.

Normal monohydrate will cause bloat for sure. I've been using CEE and there is no water retention at all, but the effects are lessened as well for that fact.

that is placebo bro.

water retention is the most anabolic property of creatine. Creatine is an osmolyte, it retains water, period. Increased water increases cell size which increases protein synthesis so if a company says their creatine doesn't cause water retention... they are either

1) lying
or 2) saying their creatine isn't anabolic

Stick with the tried and true Creatine Monohydrate. And it's the cheapest.

I'm trying out CEE right now, never really touched regular creatine but seems to give decent results.

I know my brother got great results when he 1st started lifting using regular Mono.

I've always been a firm believer in nutrition over supplements so I don't focus too much on the effects of this CEE, as long as my nutrition is in line everything else will come.

Phosphagen by EAS is pretty cheap. $15.95 for 1000g.

With regard to usage, I have found that mixing 5g with the pre- and post-workout shake works well for me. Some brands will recommend loading. My opinion is that it just makes them more money.

Also, I have seen some studies that support cycling and some that don't. I don't cycle it but you may want to try to see what works for your body.

Obviously drink plenty of water and eat some high-glycemic carbs when taking because they facilitate creatine transport into muscle cells.

Yes, eat carbs right after taking the creatine. I usually just make a shake with whey protein powder, creatine and oatmeal.
