I hit new PRs on the squat today hitting 405 for 8 reps & 315 for 20, but nothing could top later that night...



I proposed to my wonderful girlfriend Isabel and she ACCEPTED! This is the best day of my life. And what's better, I proposed using my grandmother's engagement ring (same setting, new diamonds) and i have my grandfathers ring so now we have the set. I know they would be so happy for us to have them, they were 2 of my heros and I only hope that we can make a life for ourselves like they did.

Here's how I did it. I got all my family and many friends together for dinner tonight at my parents house. Isabel had no CLUE! After dinner mom kept isabel distracted while I tied the ring around our dog's (shautzi is her name, she is a shnauzer) neck whom isabel absolutely adors. I brought the dog back in the room and said "go see isabel" and I said "honey look at her pretty ribbon" then she saw the ring & i got down on one knee and she said "OMG what are you doing... what are you doing????"

then I asked her and she said she would be honored!

Hell yea!!!!!!!!!
