No training the final 3 - 4 days of carbloading?

Hi, is it OK to do weight training just for a good pump during the last 3 - 4 days of carb loading or will that blur everything out? Please enlighten me, I have carb depleted and have my best definition yet, I'm 6 days out from when I want to peak. In another 3 days I will cut sodium while carb loading starts. Last cardio will be 30 minutes tomorrow and my regular weight training, shoulders and traps. When cardio is cut out, what to do with my weight training that last 5 days??

I'm a complete newbie at this, first time I'm seriously trying to peak. Any help would be apprieciated.

NOT working out the final few days before a show in an attempt to spare glycogen is one of the WORST ideas there is. If you do not workout your body has absolutely no reason to keep that glycogen intracellular rather than leaking back into the extracellular space. I would definately do a light 30 minute circuit training pump up routine that final 2-3 days before a show.

What's worse is when you don't do anything but sit on your butt for 3-4 days before a show then suddenly you are suppossed to be able to get a good pump right before going onstage...???? It ain't happenin' lol

Definately agreed....Last week for contest prep for me is:

Mon-Carb deplete/Light leg training
Tue-Carb deplete/Light shoulder/chest
Wed-Carb deplete/Light Back/Biceps/Triceps
Thurs-Carb UP-Pushups/situps
Friday-Carb UP-Pushups/situps
Sat-SHOW TIME

never....I stick to good carbs before teh show....However, I eat a few chocolates when Im pumping up to bring out veins

shitloading only will work if you are a very extremely ectomorphic or you are on anabolics

See that's the diff of being on this forum and others. People don't often recognize that the advice differs so greatly for nattys and even those on pro hormones and of course AAS.

What did you have like Snickers or something?


Do you recommend I should eat some choc bars during pump?

Well I think I will be 6-7% on the day. Probably 7%.
