Ok I've read some pro's dont eat dairy at all because it places a layer of fat on the abs, and some say it's great to have. I think dairy is good but in terms of pre contest ...is there a time u should cut it out? thanks

not unless you have an allergy to it. 'the layer of fat' they are referring to is subcutaneous water retention that lactose can cause in people who have a lactase enzyme deficiency (lactose intolerance) just cut it out a few days before a show

If you insist upon taking in milk pre-contest then I say cut it out AT LEAST 2 weeks out as I recommend the only fluids you take in during this time be purely water...

As for me - I cut all dairy out 12 weeks prior....

Other than contest time though - I LOVE DAIRY PRODUCTS ......

I love dairy as well, and the only times thruout the day taht I eat it are breakfast and with protein shakes (2-3)...i use a cup of Fat free milk with those and srinkle not even a fourth of a cup of cheese on my eggs in the mornin. My trainer had me cut it out like 5 weeks out last time, the drinks and stuff are bearable but much better with milk in them.
