im having problem with my external laptop speakers that i bought. the problem is that when i play a clip froman internet site, the sound is really low compared to if i play a clip from the computer itself - not on the net. i think its the sound card problem but if it would be the sound card then that shouldnt make a difference between playing a song from the net vs from the hard drive....and one know what the problem could be?

thanks

Well the sound coming from the speakers on your laptop is always at the same amplifiaction level set through your control panel. When accessing a file from the net that pulls up your default player for audio, it defaults to the 50% mark. Mine does the samething. IOW, when playing a file from the net, adjust the media players volume. :)
