PC upgrade information needed??

I wanna do more upgrades to my computer but theres a few things I need to figure out.. I want to find a way to find the names of all the components that I currently have on my PC.. for example.. what kind of ram... DDR or SDram and so on.. what kind of video card I have?? how can I do this.. i tried looking into hardware but I couldnt find exactly what I had.. and what are some suggestion on what I should get to upgrade.. currently I have

Pentium 4 1.60GHz 512mb of ram 80 GB hardrive.. Help a brother out

so what should i upgrade to make my computer faster.. is the ram enough??? i dont really store too much on my comp.. what are your suggestions?

You should upgrade your cpu (3.0GHz+), HDrive (120GB+), memory (1Gb+) and your motherboard depending on support for your cpu. These are the major components. You may also have to look at upgrading your power supply, case and monitor...Oh yeah, and get a DVD writer if you can coz its really handy!

i'm not saying 4 u to get a new computer but a new cpu, hdd and motherboard are the key components for any upgrade. If u want to upgrade other components then it's up to you...
