Well right now to be honest my faith was tested cuz my little sis had a baby last week and then this week she is stuck in the hospital with some infection that only 15% of the people that get it live. To be perfectly honest there are few people that are more "faithful" than her, but yet now that her life is going so well there was a this that is the same as her hitting a brick wall. I mean she is a brand new mother and she has not even seen her son but 2 out of the 8 days he's been alive.

True and I can honestly say that my family is very close and we have all been there for her and will continue to be no matter what. Thats whats family is for!

i stoped beliveing In a God after 8th grade. onec things went into the shitter durring my first year of high school i decided even if there is a god, i hate him.

All these idiots wearing crosses...and....smoking weed, getting pregnant, failing school, not going to church, cussing 4 times a sentence.

There is no point in following a religion if you wont do it right.

Church should be done for yourself. not because people tell you to.. Church is a way to fellowship with other believers and strenghten your faith.. heres another objective people have..

There are too many hypocrites in the church.
Church is a good place for hypocrites, as well as liars and thieves. It is there where they will be exposed to the Word of God and learn that hypocrisy is wrong. For you to judge those in the church is to condemn yourself, because we are all hypocrites in one form or another. Your recognition and condemnation of it tells me you know it is wrong. Is it hypocrisy to point a finger at the church full of sinners when you yourself are one as well?
It has been said that you must be smaller than the thing you hide behind. Are you hiding behind the hypocrisy of others to keep yourself out of church? You must realize that you are responsible for yourself and God won't ask others about you on judgment day. He will come to you and ask you to give an account for your life. The hypocrites in the church will also stand before God, with or without you there.
People don't counterfeit pennies. Why do you think there are hypocrites? Because Christianity is valuable.

I can't believe in a God who would send people to hell.

Whether you believe in something or not does not change the fact of its existence. Jesus spoke often of hell (Matt. 25:41-46; Mark 9:47-48; Luke 16:19-31) and warned us so we would not go there. Would you say Jesus didn't know what He was talking about?
Are you implying that it is unjust for God to send people to hell? If so, then you accuse God of injustice. Sin is wrong and it must be punished. What would you have God do to those who oppose Him and do evil? Do you want Him to ignore that which is wrong? Do you want Him to turn His head and not be holy and righteous?

I was born Christian, but haven't been active follower or believer for a few years. Not that I don't want to believe. But there just seems too much shit in the world and too much injustice. I have full respect for people that have their faith though as I imagine it enriches their lives and keeps them at one. As long as people don't use religion as an excuse to kill (which seems to be happening more and more) then they're alright in my book.
I mean do people really believe that their religion tells them to strap on a bomb and walk into a crowded area and let it off. That's not religion - thats bullshit.
I respect those who respect themselves and others and will practise what they believe in in the right manner.

welll said brother.. see thats my whole point.. there is such a big difference between religion and faith.. religion is so damn tradition and people will do whatever they want to keep there so called religion.. and yes even murder... thats not right, we all know that.. God never once said to kill people.. people can easily be decieved.. Mohamed murdered jews.... what kind of religion is that? should i follow him? no.. Jesus said.. he is the way to the Father, and the only way.. so many things have been recorder before he was even born and all the prophesies have been filled.. only God can do such thing.. no man will have an excuse when the die.. its sad to see whats goin on in this world.. but this all has to come to past..
