I didn't watch any films last night. Although I did watch some episodes of the Simpsons which ties into the film being released next year. Thank you.

As of yesterday i am working in a videostore because i am trying to avoid getting a real job. I get free DVDs galore

Yeah it was sweeeeeet. It is 30 seconds away from my place. Didn't even feel like being at work.

First DVDs i got were Howl's Moving Castle and a political doco called 'The Take'.

You'll have to post up what you think of Howl's Moving Castle. I quite fancy that. Spirited Away is superb.

I don't think i have seen a Miyazaki film i did not like. I particularly liked Princess Mononoke and Laputa Castle in the Sky. Porco Rosso is also a lot of fun.

I meant to get Ghost in the Shell 2 as well, but forgot. Tomorrow.

Watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang last night - really liked it. Very much the same sense of humour as Lethal Weapon (it being the same writer and all) and it had enough twists to keep it interesting plotwise aswell. Definately worth watching.

I'll get it out next week, i have heard it was good from a few people.

Last night i saw Ghost in the shell 2! If there are any manga fans around you all know the importance of the first film. This one was visually spectacular but the philosophising felt much more forced this time...definitely not as good as the original, but still worth a look. The visuals make it worthwhile alone.

Also saw Jackie Chan's New Police Story (I am a massive Jackie Chan fan). This has to be by far the darkest JC film i have seen. Compared to what he has been churning out lately this is a return to form. I think this was his first Hong Kong produced film for some time so i think the problem is Hollywood...i hope he stays away!

^All JC's Hollywood films have been watered down versions of his Hong Kong ones. Didn't know he'd done another one. Will have to look out for that. Rush Hour 3 is still in the pipeline though...

Finally got round to watching Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless mind last night - top film. Reallt looked good, very clever direction as I knew it would be from Michael Gondry. The way it was shot was really original, and was a good film to boot!
