xbox - big meaty powerful machine. but lacks good games...yes it has halo, ninja gaiden but overall the games for this machine are just poor.
ps2 - been out the longest...there is probably a ps2 in every household these days...has the most games...has the most quality games....but its startin to age.
gamecube - alot of ppl think this is just for kiddies..pick of some of the resident evil games...no kiddy is going to want to play these ...i find the games for the gamecube are more fun than games for the 2 other consoles...
so my vote would have to go with gamecube just because im a huge resident evil fan
I have to go for PS2, as it is small, versatile (unlike X-Box), and can play DVDs (unlike Gamecube). As far as games goes, I like wrestling games, and other sports games, and noone delivers like PS2.
Second choice would be Gamecube, as me and my friend spend countless hours on his every once in a while, playing mario cart
I am going to have to go with the Gamecube. Nintendo has always had the most appealing games for any age - and with the new Zelda coming out this year, this just makes the decision so much easier :)
Throw some gas on all of these and set them on fire. I like mario bros games and none of these have any good mario games. Too much junk in the background of racing games which I also like. Especially ones that you can wreck like in real life. Seems to me that all the good game ideas have all been thought of and the 'new' ones are just a rehash of some old space invaders idea with a twist or a fireball or a bolt of lightning or a new type of gun to shoot the opponent from across the screen giving him no chance for a fair and exciting fight.
I would choose xbox. The graphics are better than the two others + I only like fighting games like Dead or Alive on consoles.
IMO ps2 is outdated and the graphics are poor.

I agree. And loading times on Xbox are almost non-existing, and you can mod the Xbox with new software, hardware and so on.
As far as games go there are a big variation in games available.
i love my ps2, load times do sux but its worther the wait but xbox is definety a close 2nd. oh and my son likes his game cube lol
