K, thats fine...you are definitely entitled to your opinion and I understand what you are saying. I'd still take my guns over my fists when it comes to this type of situation. I bet that people caught on pretty quickly to the fact that there was going to be chaos.

and people did know about the levees, they needed to be updated and improved...they could only withstand Level 3 hurricanes, and Katrina was a Level 4....people have known about the levee problems for awhile

At the convention center people got robbed in the dark...that's just mess'd up. It's cowardly.

I can somewhat understand that, but can you imagine how hard its going to be to get all the refugees to begin new lives in new areas.

anyway ive been watching the news for the past 5 hours and its insane.. where are all the homeless going to go? even in 5-6 months time.

all the homeless are currently being taken to different states. Most are going to Texas (for now). But then they will be spread out through the United States. I know refugees are coming to Kansas City and St. Louis.
