I've been hearing a lot of b/s about the only reason the ppl down there are not getting help is b/c they are black...which is b/s, they just have to understand that there is so much going on right now and everything isnt going to be handed to them on a silver plater. word has it, its gona take 6 months to pump out that water now and an additional 6 months to wait for it to dry out. that situation is gona get worse everyday. especially w/ all the crime going on. seeing what is going on down there makes me mad and scared at the same time. what if something like this happened worldwide, just think if everyone acted how the ppl of new orleans are (as far as the crime and stuff)

When my GF told me what he said I almost fell out of my seat. Something tells me they wont make that mistake again. He just made a bad situation worse by turning this into a black/white discussion. The news about human suffering just turned into a racism story.

^^^yep, couldnt of said it better...i just thought that is especially bad when they are trying to get donations and someone says somethin like that. and now there are all these rumors about this situation being so bad b/c the ppl down there are black. if you ask me it has nothing to do w/ that...maybe its b/c there are stupid ass gangs going around raping people, stealing everything, shooting at helicopters trying to rescue people and now i have heard that prisoners are somehow escaping and taking ppl hostage.

my first reaction, I was laughing my ass off (like most people)...the way he said it was just classic

but then you realize he single handedly took a noble plan to raise money, and turned it into a way to tell the world his opinion, it makes me sick. if he wants to say that "Bush hates blacks" on his rap albums, fine...but you don't do it on a national broadcast that is raising money for dying people
