I bought a Sony MZ-NHF800 ( Minidisc Player ) and I use the program SonicStage or realplayer to transfer my songs, When I connect the player to the computer it always comes up as a Removable hard Drive, thus meaning the program sonic stage o real player will not transfer media to it when it is being used as a Removable device. Does anyoen share this issue or offer a solution ?

Thanks
MD

What is it, an MP3 player? Minidisc? Is this the first time you connected it to your computer? What edition are you running? I.E. Windows ME, Windows XP? It could be that you either have to install a program or the device is not compatible with your computer.

Minidisc , Had it for about 6 months and has been working perfectly until i recently used it as a removable drive to transport some files, still works reasonably well on other computers just not mine.

Well did it work normally on your computer before, until you turned it into a RDT? If not, then it's probably just not compatible, or the RDT is not compatible with your computer (which suckz.) Sorry.
