where can i transfer my songs to??

hey guys.
my computer is really messed up and i need to format it deperately. the problem is that i have a ton on great songs that i dont want to loose. i have made up my play list for yrs now and dont want to loose them. now if i format my computer the songs will be lost. so does anyone know what i can do as far as storing my songs somewhere then i can format my computer after which i can out th songs back on my computer.

Buy a Portable Memory card that fits into your USB port, I just bought a 1 Gb one. But it was like $100, you could probably find a 2 GB one for $150 if you shop around. Or even better yet, go on E-bay and you might find one that stores more for a very cheap price. Good luck.

burn them onto cds... cheap.. can get pakc of 10 cds for $5 id say.... or if you have a dvd player get blank dvds.. bigger storgage

1 blank cd - 600-800mb
1 blank dvd - 3-4gb

damn i have no clue wht to do. i guess i should write down all the damn songs and then download them over.

i wanted to invest in a new laptop actually but im not too sure now. its no point in getting a new HD since this computer is quite old anyway.

Hey, if you're good with computers, I'm pretty sure you could download a cd burning sytem and a hack for it off of limewire. However, I am not very smart with cpu's so I have no idea where to start.

if u want to burn a cd i know u need to have a burner installed in ur computer frist of all. u can but cd burners which are external but i dont think i want to spend my money on a burner. i dont erally listen to cds. i have the best speakers so i listen to my music on the computer.
