Hey guys, just wanted to share something with you that hit me the other day when listening to a particular song. Do you find that there are specific songs, that whenever you hear them, have a special meaning, significance, or remind you of somone?

Well, when I heard welcome to the jungle scream on the radio, it made me grin...always reminds me of where i grew up, which was all v8's and guns n' roses wherever you looked, it was awesome, I still miss it in a wierd way.

If you got any songs that remind you of the good ol' days, or some good memory, share it with the brethren

Peace.

Nick

I couldnt listen to some rammstein tracks after my gf broke up because it made me think of her (her sister listened to rammstein alot) and it got me all depressed and shit like that, pretty weak but well thats how it is.

Drums (not the ones used in modern music but like indian ceremonial dance drums and wardrums and so on) usually makes me kinda mentally pumped and ready to fight in a good way, so I can understand why they were used in battles.

there was also a slipknot track (wait and bleed) which made me get homicidal thoughts and shit in school once (lol it wasnt that bad, seriously) and also some orchestral songs like Requiem for a dream also makes me mentally pumped

Songs have emotional ties. That's why I believe that if you listen to songs enough or are around certain songs at certain times that you will end up liking a genre that you were totally opposed to in the past.

Holy shit! I was thinking this the same time.

I AM EXACTLY LIKE THIS. Certain songs remind me of certain time periods or certain times that were important to me.

For instance,

When I listen to Disturbia by Rihanna, I think of my past competition. Because that was a song I really liked at the time and played in the car ride there.

music is a huge part of my life I have it playing constantly. It makes my mood yet what i play depends on my mood.If Im tired or upset Ill put on some good dancing or hiphop music to get me out of the funk and in a better mood.
