i thought i would tell this since david said it might make a good story

so about 2 years ago me and my mom went skiing at Stowe in Vermont. we were there for 2 days and the first day went great. huge jumps, perfect superpipe. most fun i had ever had skiing. everything was going great untill the next day i was throwing huge 360's of this pair of 40 foot kickers. but their was a 50 footer that i had not yet conquered. so the last run i decided what the heck ill throw a 3 off it...... not a good idea.
as i was going off the jump i caught as edge and was thrown off axis, i ended up spinning through the air head first 40 feet in the air. to add on top of the shit i was already in, i didnt have enough speed.
i hit the knuckle of the jump so hard i bounced 3 feet in the air and started tumbling down the landing. i couldnt breath for at least 2 mins i just sat their gasping for air. it honestly felt like i was stabbed in the chest, it was the most painful thing i have ever experienced
a few years later when i start lifting i notice that my left pec isnt shaped like my right and i remember that horrible day at stowe. i went to the doc and he told me i had torn my pec and broken my sternum. and i never went to the hospital for it.
i guess i have a really high tolerance for pain lol

Ouch!

You didn't even go to a doctor for it? :O I could see maybe a broken nose or a fractured toe, but a broken sternum?! Damn, lol. Wish i had that kinda pain tolerance.
