The other day at work a person who I rarely see came in and saw me and said "damn your geting huge" ... we talked a little bit more and one of the things he said was "doesnt your fiance mind that your getting so big". So my question to everyone is how does your significant other handle your desire to get big? Do they support you or do they think your getting "too big"? (can be current or even ex's)

I am pretty fortunate now that I think about it. My fiance has always supported me with it and pushes me even when I feel like I want to give up. I just never even thought of it as an issue, I couldnt imagine not having her support... infact I know I wouldnt be where I am if it wasnt for her.

my wife gives me support and she pushs me when i need it the most even when i am gettin ready to compete

Glad to hear... i would like to think that everyones significant other would support them... but i'm sure there are those whos dont.

Thats been the hard thing for me, can't find one that will put up with the routine. There is this girl I met however, she lives in a different state though, that said she wouldn't mind if I was juicing an got up to 250 as long as I stayed the same personality wise.

She actually likes that I bodybuild.

my girlfriend loves that i workout regularly because it is healthy and makes me look better. i wouldnt say im huge right now so it doesnt bother her in the slightest

Me and my husband support each other all the way, mainly because we're both into weightlifting, i guess that makes it a lot easier, lol. It's yet another thing we have in common, and we cheer each other on. Since he's about 6' 4", i highly doubt i'm in danger of getting bigger than him (lol), and i'm used to him being bigger than me... so no fear of that! Even if i did manage to weigh more than him, as long as i was healthy he wouldn't have a problem with it. And of course, if he grew to a muscular 300 pounds, i'd love him all the same.

All in all, we're really fortunate to have found each other. We started out as a long-distance relationship, so i'd say it is possible to have love across state lines. If someone likes you for who you are, i say go for it no matter the distance.

my girlfriend has been extremely supportive of my bodybuilding efforts, even going as far as to encourage me to actually try my hand at some bodybuilding comps and stating she has faith that I could do whatever necessary to succeed if I ended up doing so. Her favorite muscle group is the back so she's all about me getting bigger too, so it works out for both of us. Guess I lucked out in this area!

its good to see everyone getting great supporrt...but to post one on the flip side on things is my fiance wants me to just maintain my current size and cut a liitle more but not get much bigger...she doesnt understand why i want to be big and sees it as an obsession but i tell her its a passion of mine and a goal so she goes with it...but it makes it hard when ur spouse is question ur motives behind it all. thats my experience and trust me it is difficult sometimes.
