Okay, so I am currently 29 years old, am 5 foot 2 (close to nothing) and am at 238lbs. That is a lot - however when I started my road of following my dream to become a cop I was 28ish and 285lbs with NOT a bit of muscle, could not go over 2.5 on the tread mill at any timeframe over 2 minutes without sweating and being winded and was a lump of nothing to my family other then love.
Now, I did at one point if you look back on this board get down to 223 and then life hit. Both my boys within a six month span (one is 7 the other just turned two) were diagnosed with different things both in the category of special needs. The 7 year old Adhd/OCD with impulse control issues, anxiety as well as a coordination disorder. His brain don't tell his hands and feet what to do as well as they should be. He can walk and talk, just can't write as well and the other stuff...that's a long list. The two year old was given the dio of Autism. It has improved greatly per intervention of diet and therapy and we do expect part of the dio to drop off. I know I know, my boys are challenged in life but my quick up end of it, Jacob Dylon (7) is listed at a mind power/ability and memory of a 13+ year old's mind and is listed by doctors as clinically gifted/gunnies. Aidan Blaze (2) is showing signs and has been since 8 months old as a musical prodigy. So yea, give and take ain't bad.
So, I took time off to cope/deal/learn/understand and grasp what that six months of doc's visits meant for the now as well as the future. As of three weeks ago (minus the past five days of the damn east coast bug going round) I am back to the gym four to five days a week. Back down to 236.8 as of this morn and feel great. Keeping a log for diet and working out and busting my chubby hump to run/lift my way to being the best (soon to be) 30 year old cop in Maine. That in a nut shell is me, Poppa.
Thank you for listening.
