I thought to myself there's alot of questions that in the future due to evil people's actions will pop up, they may be based on a terrorist attack or some goverment based thing, and the last thing I want is good relationships with people breaking up,

So I thought lemme make a thread where any doubts, questions and so on about islam can be answered, the majority of you lot may be like "Holy crap, here we go.. here's another spawn of Osama bin Laden.." but I asure you lol, I follow the right peaceful "truthful" path of Islam,

Nyways you may have questions about Islam's way teachings etc and so on,

I dunno what else to type at the moment lol, but if any of you have even the smallest of a doubts or questions, then please do not hesitate post here,

I Have Quit Music
Yep... the words that virtually everyone on this board would be horrified to see, "Quit Music", heck I used to loooovvvvve!! music, I even wanted to start rapping, I used to write loads of lyrics and what not, now the lyrics werent the problem, they where all good clean fun, but when I found out that certain types of Music in my faith is forbidden.. my jaw literally dropped, I couldnt believe my eyes,

So Like ur average 16 yr old.. I thought to myself... hmmmmm... I could just pretend I didnt see that and click the little "x" button in the top right corner of my Mozilla firefox window and pretend I had just fell asleep into a nap whilst drinking my protein shake, or I could pretend this is reality and do some research... I chose to research and found some shocking info about why its forbidden and so on, here's a small taster of why is it is unlawful or forbidden, its a message from the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to all of us;

"There will be [at some future time] people from my Ummah who will seek to make lawful fornication, the wearing of silk, wine drinking and the use of musical instruments [ma'aazif]. Some people will stay at the side of the mountain and when their shepherd comes in the evening to ask them for his needs, they will say : 'Return to us tomorrow'. Then Allaah will destroy them during the night by causing the mountain to fall upon them, while He changes others into apes and swine. They will remain in such a state until the Day of Resurrection."

There is one instrument in Islam that is forbidden and that is the instrument which is called the "duff" it is like a drum and that can be used, I listen to loads of songs which we call "a nasheed" now in those the instrument called the duff is used, the nasheeds are beautiful with beautiful lyrics and nice duff beats, I'll post an example soon if anyone wants to hear a "nasheed".

^^ Thats freaky I know lol... some may take that as just a pure coincidence or a fluke, but trust me I have played loads of songs backwards.

Anyways guys to sum up, I just want everyone to get along be you Muslim or Non-Muslim, I want peace, respect and truth between everyone here on this forum and in this world, but its up to all of us to respect each other, to look out and understand and respect other peopl's faiths and beliefs etc,

I hope a admin or mod could make this thread a sticky, cos Im sure with the times we are living in that this thread would come in handy, anyways Peace to everybody

interesting video! i really doubt the singers/song writers want to warp our minds though. also in the video '666' is mentioned, the bible describes the 'number of the beast' but if translated correctly, it tells us the the evil number is actually 616.

The number of the beast refers to either, Caligula or Nero, the hated opressors of the early Christians, not to some imaginary bogey man.

And well the video was a very goofy example to say the least lol.. I did not in any way mean to say that the artists in that vid were "Purposely" making songs like that and so on to make us listen to evil,

what I meant is that the devil, in islam known as "Shaitaan" makes wrong things appealing and makes you want to use them, do them or listen to them etc. in this case music.. so the if you look deeply into somefin in Islam you can really understand why something is forbidden.. dont get me wrong lol.. this video is blaintly probably just a fluke.. but then again it could be a sign from god or maybe a hint..

cheers matey! im really open minded, so here i am...all ears lol i dont believe none of the crap in the media. i always have and always will say "the news is the most fictional thing on tv" but at the same time i am openly honest, no bullshit! and i will say this, the extremists, terrorists and others that take religion too far, should get a bullet between the eyes, whether they are Muslim, Jewish, Sikh, Christian etc religion is and should be about peace and understanding, not conflict and violence. i could rabbit on all day about the pro's and cons of religion. it is one of the things that i feel most strongly about. but i am a firm believer in 'each to their own'. i have alot of respect for people that have something to really believe in, i am an all out atheist and things can seem real lonely when you have no faith.

i know Islam is a peaceful religion (as most Eastern religions are eg Buddhism and Hinduism) but alot take misinterprite the Q'uran and ruin it for everyone else.

ive said in another thread that i reckon there will be a civil war in Britain - it wont be nice. its inevitable, i mean the British Muslims are bound to get sick of the prejudice and persecution and will fight back. at the same time the 'White-British' are bound to get sick of the 'pa**is' taking all their jobs and ruining their country (sorry mate but i had to express the stereotype). i really mean it when i say that im concerned for you and Bhana...shit will get nasty for you and your people

its a nice thought but it will never happen. i got something to say about that and im gonna try and make it seem as nice as possible (this could easily be misunderstood)

i dont agree with anti-racism, neither do i agree with racism. for the most part, the anti-racist campaigners are just as bad as the racists. they both purposely go out wanting to hurt each other. i look at it like this: whether we like it or not, racism will always be around, it will never go away. the key is to teach people about different cultures, some might say "but Kenney, religous education is tought in schools" and to which i would respond, yes it is (to a certain extent) these days, we arent tought about Islam, it is rammed down our throats! we are almost brainwashed to believe that all black, asian, german, french (and other seemingly enemies of Britain) are all happy and peaceful. yet everyday in the news there is something to completely contradict this. Britain is a nation of great hypocrisy and quite frankly it makes me sick. what are the youth of today meant to believe when the authorities (who are quite often the enemy of the common people) teach us that we all should all hold hands and sing merrily together. but then are taught by the mass media, something completely opposite. it causes mental conflict within ourselves.

it is much easier to persecute than it is to understand. people arent born with the concept of hate, love, race, colour, religion etc it is learned and taught. it is time that people began to try and understand (both the victims and the perpretators) then we can get an idea as to why people are racist and why people (in this case Muslims) do what they do. for example, the Twin Towers and 7/7 bombings (touchy subject i know) it was all over the media, keywords were: Islam, Terrorist. the media told us what the terrorists did but they didnt tell us why!
