I've noticed a few CC fans here.

So, I've a question.

Do any of you like CC post 95? I know that a lot of people don't like Corpsegrinder's vocal style and much prefer the deep, deep groan of Barnes'. A lot of fans say corpsegrinder ruined Cannibal Corpse.

Personally I enjoy both. A lot.

Anyone have any favourite albums?

I like Corpsegrinder, sometimes more than Barnes because Corpsegrinder has more a more understandable style of vocals even when he's belting out stuff in rapid fire.

Now i'm more of a thrash metal fan myself but when i heard barnes on six feet under I wasn't really impressed as i was as when I heard Corpsegrinder.

Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, never got into anthrax, Corrosion of Conformity Im starting to get into, Pantera's stuff is along the top too.

You should check out some Judas Priest if you like Slayer and Pantera...

They were a major influence of the beginning of metal, along with the legends of Sabbath

They've got a new album out soon too...

I don't like priest much, the falcetto vocals really aren't my thing. I'll listen to a few Maiden songs for the guitar work but as for vocals I like songs with men that sound like men.

A driving reason behind my blinding hatred of emo/screamo/poppy stuff.
