What's the Coolest or Best Christmas Gift you received this year.

Mine is ( and will always be ) my kids excitement opening there's.. It's truly PRICELESS.. without a shadow of a doubt!!!

My wife and I woke our kids up this morning at about 05:15 to open a couple of there's before I left for this dreaded hell whole called work..lol..

I did get my wife a beautiful Mother's day ring for a present,, she really loved it.. It was something she always wanted, but we could never find one that she liked in the jewerly store. I created one and had them make it and she absolutely loved it.

Honestly I really don't need anything for Christmas. I buy what I need, when I need it throughout the year.

I'm sure you know what I'm talking about

Christmas is half good and half not good for me. Since my mom passed away almost 5 years ago.. The holidays are not the same anymore. Those that have lost a parent or parent's know exactly what I'm talking about. You loose a little of the spirit of the holidays.

I usually bounce back on the happiness and excitement of my kids and get a warm feeling over how they react from opening there presents. I reflect on how I was back in the day when I was there age.. Believe me Big Difference..LOL..

I'm not upset or depressed by anymeans, don't get me wrong, I will always feel this way. It's apart of life now.. I accept it and move on.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and was with everyone they wanted to be with and love during this time of the holidays. If you where not, I hope you had time to call them and say " hello " .

Chris

2 weeks ago a close friend of mine was in critical condition. she was on a motorbike with a family friend & was knocked off pretty bad. she got a broken leg, jaw, face, punchered lung, with pressure on the brain, they flew here into a hospital in east london for having the best neurosurgeons there, she underwent a long 36hr surgery. the accident happend on a wednesday, by that saturday doctors said she wasn't going to make it through the night & if she did she'd possibly be brain dead, she couldn't move or talk. they considered turning off her machine as the doctors very rarely saw anyone go through so much & still make it out alive (the chances where 1 out of a million), obviously her family fought the doctors decision & kept her alive for that little while longer. by sunday my friend started breathing on her own, started moving around trying to climb out of bed...cutting a long story short, less than 2 weeks later she is now out of intensive care talking, eating by herself & getting stronger by the day, she was even trying to laugh at our jokes, lol. she is awaiting another surgery in the new yr for restruction on her face...

this is by far the best xmas present any of us can wish for

this is a BIG thing, & really needs to be in a magazine or newspaper coz it's just incredible in how she's recovered so quick, we're all so proud of her
