Let me rephrase that ..... Only a few people you have personally heard of you mean ! FBI are cracking down on most illegal users these days as there are still alot of sites to get illegal / non lagitimate music files from.

Yes definately give Utorrent a try ! Once I started using torrent downloads I never looked back at dodgy PSP sharing programs ! And kazza which does have a virus inbuilt into the program Stay well away.

Coming from a guy that has close to 10,000 songs, use torrents for full albums and Ares for P2P and just like one or two songs. Ares is by far the best P2P I've used and the only one besides WAREZ I trust. But do as Freak suggested earlier, use a simple BitTorrent program and download from torrents. I reccomend either Azureus, uTorrent, or my personal favorite, BitComet. I suggest BitComet just because it has an easy user interface and a simple design. No problems here. Just make sure you update frequently, so you get the best download speed.

OMFG if your gonna pay for music you might as well buy the fuckin' album so that the artist gets a profit and not some hobo who borrowd/stole the songs, and hosted it on the net for other people to pay to have access to

Nah it would have to be a bloody good album for me to buy it, But on the other hand I do like to support the artist by buying the CD !

Nothing in life is free which gives people more incentive to download FREE music !

Overpriced , Over-rated , If you really want to support your artist best go to their concerts :)

most bands dont make much money... unless they are selling 100,000 copies or more, there isnt really much money ofr the artists. And the amount of access to free downloads is hurting the smaller artists.
