although i dont really play an instrument (okay i do guitar but i might as well not be playing it coz thats my level of dexterity on the damn thing) i appreciate music for how it makes me feel, the message, n how the notes and stuff are composed n put together

yeah, exactly, but most people put way to much emphasis on the lyrics/vocals... hence why metal isnt the BIGGEST genre of music ever hahaha I personally see the voice as another instrument, whether its operatic singing, scat, or metal growls lol

I hate when people who can't even play an instrument try to thoroughly analyze music like they have a college degree in the subject. I can't understand what makes them so much better than the rest of us? You would think someone who proclaims to have that much talent could play an instrument worth a damn.

i here you man. i cant play any instrument for shit but i like to analyse music (i'm a lyrical person). music is a medicine imo
