^^^ cheers kirk.

yes being a stockbroker is a very stressful job but i feel that i will be well suited to it, but i don't plan on doing it for too long, get in earn some good cash and get out and start my own business. it also has the highest suicide rate for any jobs so thats a bit worrying

I thought Dentist had the highest rate. But either way, good on you, because you have the guts to do it. I'm better with kids and am good at art and drama and all the arts classes, so I want to become a HighSchool Art/Drama teacher.

HAHA! Everyone either says, "I don't need one" or "It's an awkward conversation."

How do you think you will feel when you lose 1/2 of everything you have worked for AND your kid?

Not pessimism (well that might be too) but the divorce rate and the marriage laws.

If you go into your marriage thinking your marriage will really work out you are only setting yourself up to be greatly disappointed in my opinion. Marriage is not a sacred union anymore at least for people in America. They will get divorced at the drop of a hat and think nothing of it.

exactly, my dads been telling me this for years and years. like i said before he IS a lawyer, and i know mygeeto hates em...but eh, gotta pay the bills, and he's damn good. family money i got lucky enough to have, but i work and pay for everything myself, the rest is in cd's, stock, and 401k...but yea i can love my wife more than the world itself, but love in some points may not be enough, god forbid something happens, i lose (exactly as u said, 1/2 of everything)...i cant let that happen. ill be losing things my wife had no affiliation too.

rate is now 35-40%, how unreal is that...that was the census at the end of 2006. like i said before, love in some points may not be enough. people use divorce as an excuse. no one works, and worse of all alot of parents dont even think of their kids...
