You can also look up belgian blue cows.

There is also a boy that had a defect in this gene as well. I suppose that it could be used in bodybuilding, but i'm not sure how effective or safe a myostatin inhibitor can be. I've read it about it last year, and it doesn't seem to increase the size of smooth cardiac muscle (if I remember correctly).

it's in the pipelines atm. but nobody knows how safe it is on humans...i don't think myostatin will be around anytime soon though...
