Here's a fright - You guys know how I'm a conspiracy theorist?
1) Vince wanted to drum up ratings by 'faking' his own death.
2) No impact.
3) WWE and Wrestling in general, has been in the news every hour of every day since this happened.
4) Benoit had been in the biz a long time, was probably a pretty expensive assett, and may not have been generating the revenues that some of the newer guys are.
5) Benoit didn't 'talk' with anyone over the weekend, he only texted messages - which anyone can do, if they have your phone.
6) Benoit left no note. All of his freinds and neighbors said that he was totally committed to his wife and son. Nobody would have guessed that he would have gone off the deep end. Even other wrestlers said there were many in the business that seemed more likely than he to do something like this
7) His profile on the WWE site was modified 14 hours before police found the family, that he had missed shows because of the death of his wife. From an IP address assigned to the WWE
8) The WWE phoned local police 'out of concern' to have the family 'checked on'. Knowing the 'shadiness' of that business, and the liklihood that any 'athlete' in that business would have juice at home, who would phone the police to check on them, instead of a family member or a neighbor? Or - for that matter - WWE has tons of $ Why not take the corporate jet over & check for yourself?
9) He was hung 'from a pulley' in his home gym. It sounds a lot easier to me, to hang someone else in a home gym, than to hang oneself. And you know that storyline has been on every cop show from starsky & hutch to CSI Miami.
Am I the only one that doesn't like the picture I see when I connect the dots? Or do I just need to check the dosage on my paranoia meds?
