how was mentioning jean claude jibe at me? royce gracie is probably the best fighter of today...i think he founded the ufc

I dont think he is the best fighter of today technically. He is aging and there are a lot of young studs now that I think could kick the shit out of anybody especially in the welterweight with GSP. Diego is a rising statues in the UFC but he needs to prove himself with fight against somebody with reputable status. I find welterweight fights are so much more exciting than heavy and maybe even light heavyweight. I must admit Ortiz vs Liddell coming up in the next few days is gonna be a beauty. Liddell with choke out in round 2, my predictions. Liddell throws cannons but Tito's strength on the ground is unbearable.

Did you miss Diego's last fight... he KO Joe Riggs 1st round. He's 19-0.

Look at some of the people he has fought they are not push overs.. Riggs is a stud, Karo Parisyan, Allesio, Diaz, (are respectful fighters) and even Florian has proven himself in the 155 class. Liddell is going to KO TO in the 1st or 2nd round (sometimes he is kinda slow and cautious). Chuck has an excellent sprawl and even if Tito takes him to the ground Chuck wrestled in college and can hold his own. He is good on the ground (although we never see him there because he KOs everyone). He is naturally much bigger than Tito as well. Tito has looked good against Ken Shamrock.. hell he barely beat Forrest Griffin when Forrest was a rookie. His only submission loss was his 3rd ever pro fight against Jeremy Horn who won by an arm triangle choke. Only time will tell but my bet is on Chuck.

Ya no doubt hes a good fighter. As for the Liddell Ortiz scrap, I guess Liddell is favoured yet I think Ortiz will win for some reason. Liddell has had the title for so long and I think Ortiz will pull of an upset.

You might be right Iron, kinda like the Hughes/GSP fight. I picked Hughes, could be the same thing here with Tito/Liddell. Still going with Liddell. We will have to get our predictions up in the next few days for the entire fight card.
