hey everybody, i've been a member here for a lil while, and was more of a participating member back earlier in the year, long story short, i got a hernia, and stopped training in june, to figure out what i was going to do about it cause i didnt have insurance at the time, but now everything has been takin care of. I just had the surgery about a week and half ago now...and literally been suffering since June not being able to train, like i never realized how much of my life was dedicated to training...but i'm on the road back, and i wanted to take part back on the board, and get my training log back going again

thats a picture of me back in June, i've lost a few pounds since then...but nothing that crazy, its noticeable, but i couldnt get to frustrated by it...

if any one has any advice on hernia recovery, personal experiences...let me know..mine was about a half inch above my belly button, i know i have to take it easy these first few weeks, i'm still a lil sore....but am DIEING to get back...

man, thats gotta be frustrating, i had a very very mild hernia a few years back, nothing serious at all.. but it did effect my training until it was all healed up. basically you just need to get back into training slowly. dont push yourself too hard in the gym and slowly increase the weight and intensity. youll probably feel a strain if your workin too hard, if you do.. LISTEN to your body! Goodluck man, hope you get back up to where you were quickly!

I didn't have hernia myself, but I had other problems with vertebral column which caused spontaneous elevations of blood pressure, virtigo, nausea. Doctors could not help me really. But when I came across the book "Fool's Experience" by Mirzakarim Norbekov (I think it was translated into English) and started doing special excercises for vertebral column, I got completely healthy and now my training is mnormal again.
